You are awesome.  You are a great mom who is doing the best you can with the tools you have.  It’s so easy to head down the spiral of shame and guilt when it comes to being a mom (psst, see the bottom of this email to help stop you from heading down the spiral!).

It’s super tempting to look at other women, compare them against yourself, and then conclude that you are falling short.  Let me reassure you that no two moms are alike and no mom has it all 100% together, no matter how good she looks from the outside. We all have moments when we lose our shit and think it’s all falling apart!

To get rid of mom guilt, you need a combination of things: untangling your mind of some old thoughts you’ve had on repeat, more practice untangling your mind, some honesty with yourself about what type of mom you want to be, and work.  Doing what you’ve done in the past hasn’t changed it so far, and it won’t change it in the future.

So tell me, what’s going on in your world with mom guilt?  Comment below and let’s talk about it.  I’m here for you!
